When we gather together as a Church, it’s always an incredible time. There’s something powerful that happens when we gather as ‘the Church’ to seek God together. However that sense of having an encounter with God and experiencing the presence of God is NOT an exclusive experience for us as a corporate Church!
Often we allow ourselves to hide behind our identity the THE Church and forget that God wants to meet with YOU as an individual!
Yes we want to meet with God but all through scripture we see that God WANTS to meet with YOU!
The problem is that sometimes it’s our busyness, our agenda, our hectic schedule that doesn’t make room to meet with God.
In the Bible is says this:
Psalm 18:19
He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.
The spacious place is where we can connect with God.
The spacious place is where we switch off to all the ‘noise’ of day-to-day living and create an opportunity to encounter God.
The spacious place can be a silent place, a place of prayer, a place of reading, listening.
What we do is not as important as who we are seeking!
In the spacious place we can eliminate other noises and listen to the only voice that matters.
