These projects include our food bank, StoreHouse, including the Community Shop and Breakfast Club. Baby Bundles and School Uniform Bank, aim to provide essential clothing and items for those with younger families and children.
StoreHouse will help meet needs caused by rising food prices and increased poverty.
In addition to our weekly food bank, StoreHouse operates a Breakfast Club for those who need additional support.
School Uniform Bank
Then maybe we can help.
We offer a School Uniform Bank, enabling parents to access free school uniform, school supplies and basic essentials for their children. Our stock comprises of new, unused, and used (good condition) plain and branded school uniform. We also have basic essentials like pens, pencils etc.
As we only host the uniform bank once a year, our collection and distribution times are limited. You can stay up to date by following our StoreHouse Facebook page, for news on collection points and dates for our School Uniform Bank.
Women can be referred to us during their pregnancy by their community midwife and we provide them with a gift of a Moses Basket packed with essentials they’ll need for their newborn; including clothing, blankets, nappies, wipes and other toiletries, as well as a gift for the mum.
We accept donations of good quality, second hand baby items and financial donations to enable us to buy items which must be brand new. For more information please message our community Facebook page.
We also hold Baby Events throughout the year. These are for the whole community and items are donated in new or nearly new condition. Anyone can come and take what they need, this is open to all!
