Her Space is a welcoming, informal monthly support and social group for women who may be feeling lonely, isolated, overwhelmed, or struggling with their mental health.
This will be a safe and friendly place for you to come together, talk, listen and connect with others. There will be no pressure to talk or share, you are welcome to simply come along, have a cup of tea or coffee, take part in a craft activity and spend time in the company of others.
What Her Space Will Offer
Each session will be 90 minutes long, with free tea, coffee and refreshments and a simple craft activity available.
There will be space available to talk and be listened to without judgement, plus signposting to additional support and services where appropriate.
Who Is It For?
Her Space is for women who may be experiencing loneliness, social isolation, low mood or difficulties with their mental health, as well as women who simply feel they would benefit from connection and a supportive community.
There is no expectation to arrive feeling a certain way and no pressure to explain why you are there. Sometimes just having somewhere to go, someone to sit with and a friendly face can make a difference.
Our Aim
The aim of Her Space is to reduce loneliness and isolation, encourage connection and create a supportive community for women. We want to create a space where women can feel comfortable walking through the door on their own and know that they will be welcomed.
Come as you are. Have a brew. Try a craft. Have a chat — or simply sit and be around others.
