We wanted to finish the theme in style and to treat your kids because we believe they are amazing and so that is what we did.
But it is now all go in preparation of our new theme which is ‘The Story of Ruth and Naomi.’ For the next 5 weeks we are going to be talking to your kids about what it means to be a loyal friend and what the bible says about friends.
Friendship is so important, it is important to me and I am sure it is important to you and it is equally important to our amazing kids if they are 4 or 11. I love watching the kids in Hero Factory be friends, I love seeing them inviting new people in and by the end of the morning it is like they have been friends for the whole of their life, we all need friends and my heart for Hero Factory is that these kids establish friendships now with each other that they take through to elevate and their adult life with them. I want them in their 30’s (Oh gosh!) to be ‘remember that time in Hero Factory.’ We were not designed to be on our own, God created relationships, who ever those relationships might be with. God created friendship we just need to look in the bible at all the stories of friends such as Ruth and Naomi, Jonathan and David, Elijah and Elisha to see that. Over the next five weeks we are going to be talking about how we can bring God into our friendships and how we can be the best friends ever.
I don’t know about you but I am so looking forward to this term.
