Ben and Gale Dowding

Ben and Gale Dowding are the Senior Pastors of Influence Church.

After meeting each other while studying at college in Darlington, they both left the North-East to work with the Pais Project, an international youth and schools work charity.

It was during their first year with Pais, working in the West-Midlands that Ben and Gale both felt called to come back to their home Church, then called Richmond Pentecostal Church, and start something great with the youth work of the Church.

Over the next 10 years they pioneered and lead Elevate Youth Ministry whilst continuing to work for the Pais Project as National Directors and later as part of the Pais Global Leadership.

In January 2007, Ben and Gale became the Associate Ministers of Richmond Pentecostal Church and in September 2008 began as Senior Pastors of the Church.

Ben and Gale are both passionate about the North-East of England and about building a relevant, growing, passionate and influential Church that sees the purposes of God fulfilled across the area!
It is their heart as leaders to help build a Church that enables people to encounter God and equips them to be a positive influence for the kingdom of God through their lives!

Ben and Gale have two young boys, Asher and Noah. Both boys have a passion for mess, toys, sweets and jumping around at the front of church!

Ben has also worked for Youth Alive, formally the Assemblies of God youth department, as a Regional Director, but now works as a Zone Leader for the Assemblies Of God, in their Northern Area, having a voice into Churches across the North of England.
